The Wondering Heart

Have you ever been in love with someone who decided it was over? I know many women who know this all to well. You put your heart into the relationship only to have him leave you. I had this happen to me.  I was not a dumb person but chose to play games. You know some of them. She would be on the phone holding conversation. Let's see if you recognize this.
  • Hello
  • No
  • Yes
  • No
  • uh huh
  • Okay bye
Mind you, I could only hear her side of the conversation. So I could imagine the other end.
  • Hello
  • Can you talk?
  • Oh is your man there?
  • You gonna be able to talk later?
  • Give me a call when he is not around.
  • Okay bye baby
I know it could have been nothing, except when she got a call from a friend or relative the calls were more expressive. You know it was something wrong. You knew she is up to no good when there is a smile on her face and you didn't put it there. Then one day in a heated argument she announce she and I were through. It was the worst feeling in the world to loose some one you loved. It for me was like some one had taking a gun out and shoot me straight in the chess. I didn't know what to do. The worst part of this was I was living  with her, I was far from home where I could not call someone help me to regroup. My car was broken down. I had to stay there with the woman who has found a new lover. To make matter worst, the week after the announcement she wanted me to stay at home with the kids while she went out with him. The very next day, she would take me out, dutch bye the way. That is what made it funny. Every time they went out the next day we would go out.
I finally decided to get out of that house. I saw her as a woman who wanted her cake and eat it to. She asked me to move out but not leave the area. Her reasoning for that was that what if the computer or the car needed fixing. I couldn't believe that this seemingly intelligent woman actually said those words. That was what I now call a bottle water moment. It just had to be something in the water. So you guys pay close attention to things which go on around you. It may be another wondering heart.
